This activity consists in producing a hand-sewn notebook in which the children will have the opportunity to deal with different materials and techniques used in book production such as:

• A4 80g Paper;
• white glue;
• sewing needle and thread;
• folding front/back covers taking into account the width of the notebook's spine (+/-10mm);
• applying personalised paperback and the A5 textblock (previously produced in the "I produce my own coloured paper" activity).

The main objective of this activity is to sensitise the children to the manual production of a customised book (the cover is created in a previous activity) through the general processes used in book production - a beloved cultural object whose production is not familiar to them.

To carry out this activity the kids should bring a gown or plastic apron and sleeve protectors.
